LAUREN- Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a yoga teacher and lifelong student. I have been practicing in Arizona but also travel around the world to teach clients. I have a passion for health and nutrition and embracing a holistic lifestyle. I advocate wellness within, and wellness around us-constantly seeking a better and more sustainable world. Caring for animals and nature will pay off in dividends, because we are all connected. I fell in love with the practice of yoga many years ago when I was suffering with chronic pain. Yoga helped me heal from the inside. Now, I am so happy to be able to share this beautiful practice with my students.
Utilizing the principles of Hatha yoga, I integrate deep relaxation, physical exercise and breathing techniques with my students. I specialize in holistic nutrition and restorative yoga. I am available for private and group sessions as well as corporate wellness programs.

Tiffany's Impact on My Life – by Candice Harris Belfer
I will never forget the day April 5, 2010... I came head on with Head Fitness Trainer; Tiffany Yates at Fitness Ridge, Biggest Loser Resort. Ironically I had just finished her "Mountain" class. It was the first class of my first day of eight hour ASS-kicking classes that I had waited months for. I was up over 35 pounds and an emotional wreck. I also had a huge chip on my shoulder and couldn't admit that I needed to be there even if I knew I WANTED to. I was so mad at myself for failing, consumed by my home trainer who kept telling me I wasn't ever going to succeed, that I was lazy, and I had let him down. It wasn't him, it was me! I let myself down but I didn't understand it + "It" was suffocating and deafening. Tiffany saw me walking out at the end of class with tears and she insisted that I must look at the FULL view. What did that mean? Perhaps what it applies in my life today! I have been so mad at my book keeper for stealing from me this past year, and my nanny who has been critically ill in the hospital that I forgot to take care of myself. Then, my friend Jen Morton calls to tell me that Tiffany is dedicating an Iron Man for me and I quickly remembered how strong I really am. I must continue to repeat this to myself and begin to live it: "Tiffany, I got this. I know what to do. You gave me everything I need so it's time to do it!"
Love to each Fitness Ridge Fitness Professional who works every day to help people struggling with obesity find a reason and a way to LIVE! Go life Ethics, Inc. and My Genes Fit!! |
