ELLEN - As a graduate of Texas State University, I received a double major in Kinesiology and Health and Wellness Promotion. My experience with health and wellness began at an early age. Through 8 intense years of ballet training I learned the important role that flexibility, balance, and bio-mechanics play in achieving overall fitness. Throughout life, I have been lucky to be involved in a broad range of activities including basic sports, outdoor adventure sports, races, and competitions. I have trained with one of the top wellness franchises and have been successful in creating positive lasting results with the clients with whom I have trained. I hold true to the belief that fitness should be a fun, positive, and invigorating experience. My training philosophy is to promote and enhance one’s well-being through creative full body movements, therefore opening the door to new possibilities and advancement of lifestyle.

Tiffany's Impact on My Life – by Candice Harris Belfer
I will never forget the day April 5, 2010... I came head on with Head Fitness Trainer; Tiffany Yates at Fitness Ridge, Biggest Loser Resort. Ironically I had just finished her "Mountain" class. It was the first class of my first day of eight hour ASS-kicking classes that I had waited months for. I was up over 35 pounds and an emotional wreck. I also had a huge chip on my shoulder and couldn't admit that I needed to be there even if I knew I WANTED to. I was so mad at myself for failing, consumed by my home trainer who kept telling me I wasn't ever going to succeed, that I was lazy, and I had let him down. It wasn't him, it was me! I let myself down but I didn't understand it + "It" was suffocating and deafening. Tiffany saw me walking out at the end of class with tears and she insisted that I must look at the FULL view. What did that mean? Perhaps what it applies in my life today! I have been so mad at my book keeper for stealing from me this past year, and my nanny who has been critically ill in the hospital that I forgot to take care of myself. Then, my friend Jen Morton calls to tell me that Tiffany is dedicating an Iron Man for me and I quickly remembered how strong I really am. I must continue to repeat this to myself and begin to live it: "Tiffany, I got this. I know what to do. You gave me everything I need so it's time to do it!"
